Winter finally makes it

We had bare ground on Christmas, but now it is bitter cold and `we are buried in snow. Mom and Dad were here for Christmas, but left the day after before the big storm. Anette's parents arrived Monday and were headed to Colorado Wednesday, but instead got stranded at our house by the weather. They finally left today and headed back home to Nevada instead of trying to make it to Colorado.

Thanks to everyone for the gifts. Dad and Mom made wonderful homemade presents for everyone. The rocking horse he made for Jenine and Brandon is headed south to Las Vegas this weekend.

Is everyone ready for Christmas?? I keep checking the blog, but no one is adding anything. I assume everyone is just busy, busy, busy!
Merry Christmas everyone! Wish we could all be together. I assume Mom and Dad will be with Flint and Anette, so I sent everything in one package.

Snow in Indiana

We got a couple of inches of snow this morning-- the first real snow of the winter for us in Madison.  I thought the pine tree in our neighbor's yard looked pretty with the snow on the branches.
