NOT a Tsunami


This is not quite like what they are experiencing in Japan, but it has been very rainy for the past couple of weeks and the Ohio river is above flood stage.  The sidewalk where Mariana is standing is usually about 15 feet above the level of the river, and there are several rows of benches totally submerged below the one you can see.

I'm glad we don't have to deliver a paper to this restaurant!

I remember those floods we would see every year along the Illinois River. It was amazing how much water would be flowing past.
