We closed on our new house on Friday morning. We are very excited to be getting out of this small apartment into our own home again. We still hope our home in Madison will sell soon, but for now we will be paying for two mortgages. On Friday afternoon a big thunderstorm rolled through the area and strong winds knocked out power to large areas. We drove by the house today and saw that a shutter and part of the siding on the eaves had been blown off. We were out of power in our apartment for over 24 hours. We are not exactly sure when we will be moving in. The seller has until July 21 to move out, but they plan to leave before then, so we hope to be moving in a couple of weeks.
