Samuel's Mission E-mail June 16, 2008

Everyone:
Well, this is the last full week of the transfer, so we'll have to see what happens with our trio and areas Wednesday of next week. As for this last week:
On Tuesday, we tracted for a good while, met this interesting less-active guy in Bell Gardens named Adolfo, and visited a couple of other people. On Wednesday, we had splits, so Elder Roark was here with Elder Chadwick and I. We helped one of the Bell Gardens ward members get ready to paint her house, we tracted some more, we visited Jose Cabrera, and had our correlation meetings in the evening.
On Thursday, we had weekly planning, we visited Cynthia, a Downey 1st ward less-active, and some other people. On Friday, we had our district meeting, tracted a bit, and visited a few people.
On Saturday we were on splits with Elder Otis. In the morning we did some tracting, and then later on we worked on some posters for our English class. We also had dinner with Rosie in her house and got to meet her father. He seemed like a good guy. He never admitted to us that he's a member, though.
On Sunday, Elder Chadwick and I taught the Downey 1st ward relief society. We tracted some in the afternoon, and we taught the Taylors more of the new member lessons.
Today we don't really have much going on.
