Results of today's court hearing

Today the judge postponed the hearing on the custody motion until Nov. 19. Apparently the previous post was too optimistic. So far the request for a mistrial has not been granted but the original judge agreed to reconsider his decision.

I think in many ways this just turns into a game of attrition: who can hold out the longest. This five-minute hearing involved the services of four attorneys, three days of travel and missed work for Jed and Cally, and two days of missed work for Anette (she was babysitting Harvey). And we get to do it all again in three weeks.

But at least Jed and Cally still have Harvey. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
