Everyone:
Well, I'm afraid that due to technical difficulties with the myldsmail site, I only have ten minutes to write this letter. So, suffice it to say this week went really well. Miguel was confirmed yesterday, so he is now officially a member. We've been working with Marcelino in company with Hermano Francisco, and I want to testify to all of you of the power that a member has in missionary work. So if your missionaries ever ask you for help, help them!
I also want to talk about a principle we've been working on applying better from Preach My Gospel. This principle is listening. The power of simply getting other people to talk to you and then listening intently is amazing. Listening is a labor of love. Really listening to someone implies trying to understand them, and trying to understand them is part of trying to love them. I think a lot of relationship problems in the world would never happen if people applied the simple principle of listening better.
